YOU CAN BECOME "ADDICTED" Masturbation/Sex, Gambling, Strenuous exercise, Overworking, Eating disorders, Taking risks, including dangerous behaviors and violence. Have you felt out of control with any of the above? If your answer is yes to any of the above. Than it's time to look for other ways to deal with the pain. There are many positive things that you can do to release your anger and frustration. The first step to free yourself from addictions is to seek professional help. After you start attending therapy than you should look for something that fills the void, emptiness and unworthy feeling that sometimes we get caught up because of our past. The best way to battle against this feeling is to find a way to show your potential and all you can do. An activity that regains your self-esteem and empowers you to rise above. Examples- Advocating and doing community work. Writing your own book and sharing your story with the world. Help the homeless. Help the elderly. Help children. Resume your education and accomplish your dreams. (it is never too late) Learn how to play an instrument real well. (who knows you may be the next famous concertist) These are just a couple of examples but there are many more things that you can do to feel and know that you are worthy and capable of many great things. Don't let the past take a hold of you. You have the power and the control of your life now!
